Neymar returned to the starting lineup after missing two games in the group stage due to the ankle injury that he suffered in Brazil’s opening game. Vinicius Jr makes scored the 1st goal of the match at the 7th minute assisted by Neymar. Neymar then got a chance to double the lead in the form of a penalty kick in the 13th minute.
Brazil were on the attack for most part of the game, they created many chances and capitalized on the defensive errors from South Korea. Richarlison scored the 3rd goal for Brazil in the 29th minute as Brazil took a commanding 3-0 lead.

At Half time Brazil had a commanding 4-0 lead and confirmed their place in the quarterfinals. Korea scored a goal in the 2nd half. Paik Seung Ho coming in as a substitute smashed a left footed shot from outside the box to the bottom of right corner. Heung Min Sun failed to score for Korea on the grandest stages as the Asian giants are now knocked out of the World cup.
