According to American professional wrestler Britt Baker, AEW’s next objective is to achieve greater mainstream success.
Since the beginning of 2019, Britt Baker has been with AEW. The promotion’s next objective, according to Baker, who recently appeared on the “Absolute Geek” podcast, is to gain more recognition in the mainstream media.
AEW’s current run has had its ups and downs, and being a part of anything that is brand new is difficult because you want to be a part of something that succeeds, not something that fails. However, now that we’ve moved past that,
Regarding the company’s future, Vince McMahon said: “Now I think what’s next for us is, for the majority of people around the globe, WWE is the top wrestling promotion.” I want to develop AEW to a place where it is extremely widespread and we do more entertainment and mainstream crossovers so that when people see one of our stars, they can say, “Oh, that person is a wrestler from AEW,” rather than just asking, “Who is that person?”
Therefore, I believe that what’s ahead for us is just expanding significantly because we have a good show, a wonderful event, excellent leadership, amazing wrestlers, and a great product. It’s so fantastic that we should have more eyes on it. Let’s do that.
The AEW Women’s Championship will be up for grabs at AEW Battle of the Belts III, and Baker’s partner Jamie Hayter will be the opponent.
On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Baker and Hayter collaborated to overcome Rosa and Storm. The show’s coverage on Fightful is available to viewers.
