The Australian allrounder player has grabbed everyone’s attention with his recent performances. Lots of IPL teams will be eyeing him in the mini-auction.
Cameron Green has played only 8 T20Is for Australia so far, but has looked dangerous in his short stint with the team.
Green has a brilliant strike rate of over 173, the right-handed batter has smacked 139 runs in 8 innings. He has also picked 5 wickets in 7 T20I games that he has featured in.

Green also gained recognition in the T20I series against India before the start of the T20 World Cup.
Shastri told Fox Sports that franchises could pay more than 10 crore (A$1.48m) for Green’s services, which is more than what star power-hitter Tim David made in last season’s auction when he was purchased by Mumbai Indians for 8.25 crore.
Warner on the other hand wants to focus on Internation Cricket and prepare for the 2024 World Cup and has not shown any interest in playing the IPL in 2023.
Warner was an integral part of the Sun Risers Hyderabad and has also captained the team. He was bought by the Delhi Capitals in the 2022 IPL mega auction but failed to stand up to the expectations of the team.
“T20 cricket – I love the game. I will be looking to get to 2024,” Warner said on Triple M this week.
“Test cricket will probably be the first one to fall off, because that’s how it will pan out. The T20 World Cup is in 2024 and the 50-over World Cup next year”
“David Warner, the ability for him to play across all three formats is truly amazing and (he’s) one of the all-time great players, not only in Australia but worldwide in terms of the ability to be able to do that, there’s very few that can and sustain it for that period of time.” said McDonald
