Cody Rhodes confirms his return to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble pay per view. Cody Rhodes’ return to the WWE Royal Rumble in 2023 is sure to be one of the most anticipated and exciting moments in wrestling history. After a decade away, the former WWE Superstar is ready to make his mark on the biggest stage in sports entertainment once more.

Rhodes has made a name for himself over the last ten years, becoming an international wrestling superstar. He has held multiple championships in NJPW and AEW, and has become a household name in the wrestling world. His return to the WWE will undoubtedly be met with cheers and excitement from fans around the world.

The Royal Rumble is an annual event that is held in January, and is one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year. It is a battle royal match where thirty superstars compete against each other to earn the right to challenge for the WWE Championship later in the year. Rhodes’ return to the Royal Rumble will be a huge draw for the show and will be a great way for him to return to the company in a big way after his injury.

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at grandest stages at WrestleMania in 2022. Rhodes challenged Seth Rollins and won the match by pinfall. Cody Rhodes then later went on to feud with Seth Rollins and the rivalry between the two led to Hell in a Cell match. Rhodes entered the match with a torn shoulder. He put up one of the greatest performances of his career at Hell in a Cell and won the match.

On the RAW after Hell in a Cell Rhodes announced that he will be away from WWE due to the shoulder injury that he suffered during Hell in a Cell. The same night Seth Rollins attacked Rhodes further worsening the injury. Rhodes successfully under went a shoulder surgery and is finally ready to accomplish the Dream of his father. Rhodes made it very clear since his return to WWE. He wants to be the WWE World Heavyweight champion.

Can Cody Rhodes win at Royal Rumble ?

The stage is set for Cody Rhodes to achieve his dream. All he needs to do is win the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and earn an opportunity to face the undisputed universal champion Roman Reigns. Reigns is undefeated for over two years. No one has been able to pin Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes could have the perfect ending to his dream of becoming a champion at WrestleMania and be the one to defeat Roman Reigns and end the streak of Roman Reigns as champion.

The odds of Cody Rhodes winning the Royal Rumble is at -149 and 59.88% probability of winning the match. Rhodes was part of the Royal Rumble for the first time in the 2008 Royal Rumble at number 13 and was eliminated by Triple H after 23 minutes.

Cody Rhodes was part of the 2009 Royal Rumble entering the match at 15. Rhodes lasted 37 minutes in the match and later got eliminated on his own. In the 2012 Royal Rumble Rhodes put on a classic performance lasting 41 minutes and eliminating 6 men a rumble record at that time. Rhodes faced off against his own brother Golddust in the 2013 Royal Rumble. Cody eliminated his own brother in the match. The following year Golddust eliminated Cody Rhodes.
