He said that prior pacing errors had been learned from and that Book 3 was written with “those time restrictions in mind.”
Miller stated that Book 3 will have new heroes. The primary theme of the season will be “grief and loss. “The behavior of those characters who are still alive will be influenced by those who passed away in the previous season.
Kaden’s narrative will also develop. Fans should anticipate some storyline twist that “hopefully hits a very large gut punch” and will “learn a LOT” about him.

It is said that the Ancients will gradually gain greater strength and develop into one of the key plotlines. Sadly, a Dota 2 match won’t be accurately portrayed on TV.
Miller claims that no other Dota 2 games are currently being developed. Volume 1 will end with Book 3. He talked extensively about Volume 2, in which he intends to present an unrelated but related story. It is unknown when the show will resume.
The majority of Miller’s responses were naturally hazy, but one was especially enigmatic and peculiar. He mentioned Carl Sagan as the source of inspiration for Book 3 and added the following:
The DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3 promotional materials were added to the Dota 2 client on August 9 by Valve. On August 11, the entire season of the show will be published on Netflix.
