Salisu scored the 1st goal of the match in the 24th minute. Kudus doubled the lead by striking another goal in the 34th minute. Jordan Ayew assisted both the goal with his incredible passing. Ghana were the favourites to win the game heading into half time.
South Korea made a dramatic comeback in the 2nd half as Cho Gue – Sung scored 2 goals in 3 minutes span to tie the scores. Korea tried to take the lead but failed to score in many attempts. Mohmmad Kudus landed the final blow as the African Nation defeat Korea in yet another World Cup thriller.
Mohammed Salisu & Mohammed Kudus helped Ghana end the first half with a 2-0 lead. South Korea found their way back into the match in the second half owing to two quickfire goals from Cho Gue-sung. However, the Africans managed to take all three points after Kudus netted his second of the night.

Despite several inspired attempts in stoppage time, the South Koreans could not find the back of the net to salvage anything, thus leaving them on the brink of elimination from FIFA World Cup 2022.
This was a crucial win for the African side after their loss to Portugal in their opening match. Ghana next face Uruguay in their final group game with the hopes of qualifying for the round of 16. South Korea are on the verge of elimination after their loss to Ghana.
