Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has revealed that a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron was vital in convincing the forward to stay at Parc des Princes rather than join Real Madrid at the end of last season.

Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was protected for another three years in May 2022 after the sensational forward turned down an offer to join Real Madrid, which had enticed the Frenchman for months.
