India will be taking on South Africa in a three-match ODI series after the conclusion of the T20I series, the squad is all set to assemble in Lucknow on October 03.

The first match will be played in Lucknow on 6th October.
The second ODI will be held in Ranchi on 9th October.
The third and final ODI will be played in Delhi on 11th October.

India ODI Squad
Shikhar Dhawan will lead the team, while Shreyas Iyer will be the vice captain.
Middle-order batter Rajat Patidar and medium pacer Mukesh Kumar have been selected for the ODI series.
Madhya Pradesh batter Patidar has been rewarded for his brilliant performances in domestic cricket, his breakthrough season in the IPL.
Rajat Patidar’s brilliant run for India A against New Zealand A in the four-day games where he has smashed two centuries, which put him in contention for India.
Prithvi Shaw, who has been in red-hot form with the bat, has again been ignored by the selectors.
Wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan is back from the team, while Sanju Samson also made the cut.
Shardul Thakur has been included for his brilliant all-round show against New Zealand A.
Pacer Avesh Khan, who was ruled out during the Asia Cup due to a fever-related illness also found a spot in the 16-member squad.
Deepak Chahar and Ravi Bishnoi are also named in the squad.
No member of the Indian Cricket Team who is a part of India’s T20 World Cup squad will be a part of the ODI squad which will be played against South Africa, as the team will be travelling to Australia.
