IPL Auction 2023: Chris Gayle, Suresh Raina and Eion Morgan to be part of the expert panel for IPL 2023 mini auction to be held at Kochi. Former westindies captain and the universe boss Chris Gayle who lit up the IPL every time he played has been roped in by Jio Cinema to be part of the expert panel team during IPL 2023 auction.

Mr IPL Suresh Raina and former world cup winning captain Eion Morgan will hold the mic alongside the universe boss on December 23rd as experts during the auction.
Chris Gayle retired from IPL last season ending his memorable IPL career scoring over 4500 runs playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings in his IPL career. Gayle still holds the record of highest individual score (175 against Pune Warriors India) in IPL.
Suresh Raina is one of the all-time greats in IPL scoring over 5500 runs playing for Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Giants. Raina was not picked at the 2022 IPL Auction as a result Raina retired from IPL. He was part of the Hindi commentary team during IPL 2022.
Eion Morgan led Kolkata Knight Riders to the final in the 2021 IPL season. Morgan hasn’t had much success in the IPL. The left-handed batsman managed to score 1405 runs in 85 matches.
The list of all the experts to be part of the auction was revealed by Jio Cinema in a teaser video. The video features all the experts that will be part of the expert panel on December 23rd during the mini auction.
AB De Villiers to be part of IPL Auction 2023
Ab de Villiers famously known as Mr 360 is set to make his return to Tata IPL on December 23rd. Mr 360 recently visited Chinna Swamy stadium in Bangalore thanking all the fans for the love and support that they have shown towards him.
ABD failed to win a title in his IPL career. He announced his retirement before the 2022 IPL season. As per reports MR 360 will be part of the RCB coaching staff in the 2023 IPL season.
IPL Auction 2023 Stats
A total of 405 players will be under the hammer on December 23rd at the mini auction in Kochi. A total of 991 players enrolled for this year’s auction out of which 405 players were shortlisted.
Out of the 405 shortlisted players notably 273 domestic players are part of the list. 132 players overseas players and 4 players from Associate nations made the cut. The list includes 282 uncapped players and 119 capped players.
A total of 87 players are to be chosen by the teams out of 405 players. Out of 87 players 30 slots will be filled foreign players and the other 57 will be indian players.
