The reigning defending and undisputed Welter Weight champion in UFC, Leon Edwards successfully defends his title against Kamaru Usman in his hometown at UFC 286.

The third fight between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman was so intense and grueling. Both men were so competitive and it was a close battle. Leon Edwards and Usman went to war and fought five rounds. In the end the result of he fight was decided by decision by the Judges. One Judge gave the score as 47-47, while the other two judges gave it 48-46 in favor of Leon Edwards.
Leon Edwards won the fight by majority decision and retains his title. Edwards now has a win loss record of 21-3 and Usman drops his record to 20-3. Edwards now has the edge over “The Nigerian Nightmare” Kamaru Usman.
In their trilogy of fights Usman defeated Leon Edwards in their first fight in 2015, Edwards made an emphatic comeback by knocking out Usman clean in August 2022. He now wins his 2nd straight fight against Usman.

They didn’t get no tear down just that takedowns I was running more cleaner shots. I took out his legs for a few minutes you know it’s been my hardest fight to this day and I want to say thank you for to be a great competitor.
I know it was a close fight. So I don’t know what to go out there London to clean a shot in the little pressure. You’re Landing much you know you’re just keeping a good pressure but no not much happened.
When asked about his next opponent pointing towards Colby Covington in the crowd. Leon Edwards said ,” I might take a little trip to Miami see what don’t do also what’s going on with him. I’ll see what’s going on from there.”

“Yeah I mean uh I think I did enough to win the fight, but you know I knew it was a close fight you know. Great game plan, great game plan you know I’ve always said it from the start I knew I would see Leon again. We did it and you know I’m not done you know I’ll see him again. He put on a hell of a game plan. You know I’ve always gave him we know gave him props for everything he’s been able to accomplish. When asked on his comeback ” The Nigerian Nightmare” replied. “oh not too long I’m gonna get back with my my coaches. Because you know I’m one of those guys I can’t sit for too long. I started getting Nancy you know so, I’m gonna talk to my coaches we’ll get back sit and relax. I am gonna spend some time with my daughter.
