The most interesting match of the Pay Per View is the 30 man traditional Royal Rumble. Its interesting to see which superstar shows up at the historic match and books his ticket to the grandest stage of WWE WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes officially announced his entry into the Royal Rumble match. There are speculations that The Rock is going to return to WWE and win the Royal Rumble to face his cousin and the tribal chief Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood. Roman Reigns is set to defend his title and his old rival Kevin Owens for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Owens has taken fight to the tribal chief and the match looks to be an interesting one with the duo pulling of some of the most classic matches the last time they clashed off for the title in a pay per view.
They first faced off at the Royal Rumble in 2017 in a no holds barred match. Owens emerged victorious against Reigns to retain the title. Reigns avenged against Owens four years later defeating Owens in a last man standing match. The possibilities of the match being Reigns defeating Owens with Sami Zayn playing a key role in the outcome of the match.

Bianca Belair (c) vs Alexa Bliss – WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss finally got on the Dark Path against Bianca Belair two weeks ago on RAW while competing for the RAW Women’s Championship. Bliss got herself disqualified and officially challenged the champion for a match at the Royal Rumble.
The rivalry between Bliss and Bianca Belair is just getting started and it could lead to a potential match up at Wrestle Mania with a stipulation. Alexa Bliss could emerge victorious by disqualification leading to Bianca Belair getting frustrated with the loss or Bliss pinning the champ to win the title. Charlotte Flair on her return to Smackdown won the title against Ronda Rousey. The rivalry between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair could be the last one with the winner of the women’s Royal Rumble potentially might challenge for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Charlotte Flair is likely to win the match and regain the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. This could potentially be the last match in an exciting rivalry with both the female superstars facing fresh faces ahead of WrestleMania.
Bray Wyatt vs LA Knight – Pitch Black Match
Bray Wyatt since his return has had an interesting segment and story line around uncle howdy. LA Knight on his return to WWE feuds with Bray Wyatt. two weeks ago on Smackdown Uncle Howdy attacked Bray Wyatt to everyone’s surprise. Bray Wyatt on the 21st January episode of Smackdown bought the firefly fun house back and warned LA Knight of the wrath that he is about to face in the Pitch Black Match. Expect some fear incidents ending with Uncle Howdy helping LA Knight win potentially leading to WrestleMania match between the fiend (Bray Wyatt) and Uncle Howdy.
