It is being reported that Chelsea had to pay 20m euros to prize him away from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Graham Potter was always Chelsea’s first-choice option to replace Thomas Tuchel. But it is also reported that Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim and Mauricio Pochettino were also considered but Chelsea wanted Potter after his exciting start to this season.
“Chelsea are delighted to welcome Graham Potter as our new head coach, joining us on a five-year contract to bring his progressive football and innovative coaching to the club,” the Blues stated on Thursday.
