Deadline day of the winter window is upon us and there is no shortage for rumours and last minute transfers. This winter window has witnessed some unexpected transfers and loan deals. It will be a long day as clubs and agents will be looking to get the best of deals for themselves or their clients.

Manchester City and Portugal’s fullback Joao Cancelo joins Bayern Munich in a season long loan deal. The Bavarians have an option to buy the Portuguese for €70m. There are rumours that Cancelo’s move was caused by a fall out with Pep after the red card against Fulham. Barcelona right back Hector Bellerin has landed at Lisbon to complete his move to Sporting Lisbon. The former La Masia graduate has skipped the training with club’s permission and the move is set to cost around €1m .Pedro Porro is at London for his medicals to complete a move to Tottenham Hotspurs from Sporting Lisbon.

Jorginho switches from one London club to another as Arsenal buy him for €12m from Chelsea. The Italian midfielder will be a valuable addition for Arteta as Brighton have rejected the bids for Caicedo. Braga striker Vitinha is heading to Marseille. The French club hijacked Southampton deal to sign the forward. Spanish international Diego Llorente will make a move to Serie A. The centreback joins AS Roma on a loan with an option to buy. Llorente signed a contract extension with Leeds six weeks before the loan move. Arsenal’s Sambi Lokonga is close to completing a move to Crystal Palace. Isco’s move to Union Berlin collapsed on deadline day after a difference in terms of agreement.

Chelsea are pushing hard for Enzo Fernandez deal. The London club has sold Jorginho to accomodate the Argentine and Rui Costa is playing a hard game. The former Portuguese player and Benifica president Costa is reluctant to accept Chelsea’s €120m bid. Todd Boehly is desperate to get Enzo Fernandez. Keylor Navas wants a move to Nottingham Forest. It is unknown if PSG will give thumbs up for this deal. Barcelona are targeting Mexican right back Julian Araujo of LA Galaxy. Sofyan Amrabat is also in the Catalan club’s radar. A loan move with option to buy was declined by Fiorentina. Amrabat is pushing for a move to Barcelona. Fiorentina have dropped Amrabat from their squad list for upcoming fixture.
