Gabriel Jesus

Brazil forward player Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out of FIFA World Cup 2022 due to a knee injury. Gabriel Jesus, who sustained a longstanding knee injury in Brazil’s 1-0 group stage loss to Cameroon on Friday, has been sidelined for up to a month.

In the 64th minute Jesus was substituted out of the game. Neymar was seen comforting him at the end of the game. To analyze the extent of the injury and the precise timeline for his rehab, Brazil awaits the results of additional tests.

The injury will keep Jesus out of not only the rest of Brazil’s World Cup campaign, but also several games when Arsenal return to domestic action. If Brazil advances to the World Cup final, Gabriel Jesus might miss up to eight games. Assuming no further setbacks. Jesus return might return to action against Tottenham in the north London derby on January 15.

Gabriel Jesus

This season, Gabriel Jesus has been in fantastic form for Arsenal. He has five Premier League goals and six assists, and he has been in all three of Brazil’s World Cup games thus far. Brazil are already concerned about Neymar’s availability ahead of their round of 16 match against South Korea, with their talisman is still recovering from an ankle injury that he sustained during Brazil’s opening game.

For the time being, Jesus will remain with the Brazil squad, with Arsenal in close communication with the team’s physios and players.
