One poor performance is all it takes to be eliminated from the Asia Cup 2022. After losing to India in the group stages, Pakistan faced – and overcome – that challenge. India is now in a dire situation after losing to Pakistan in the Super 4 round.

Team India must not lose against Sri Lanka on Tuesday in Dubai in the Asia Cup 2022. If they do, the defending champions might need other results to go their way to make the final. Sri Lanka will be considered the front-runner to compete in the final clash.
Sri Lanka didn’t get off to a good start in the tournament. In the first game, they were dismissed for 105 and then witnessed Afghanistan run down the target with 59 balls to spare.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, has had two morale-boosting victories since then, chasing down 184 in a must-win group game against Bangladesh and 176 in their first Super 4 match against Afghanistan.

Despite losing on the penultimate ball to Pakistan in match 2 of super 4 round, India had a couple of considerable positives in that game.
Following a first-ball duck and a 39-ball 36 in his first two innings, KL Rahul found his rhythm and played some beautiful shots in his 20-ball 28.
Virat Kohli also emerged to be at his best at Asia Cup 2022, making a “conscious effort” to score more runs. Kohli scored 60 runs off 44 balls while at the crease, while the other batters scored 45 runs off 45 balls.
But, in terms of their campaign, it’s crunch time, and India must defeat Sri Lanka to retain control of their destiny at the Asia Cup 2022. They will be boosted by the fact that they annihilated them at home in a three-match T20I series earlier this year.
