India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2022, Super 4, Highlights: Pakistan on Sunday defeated India by five wickets in a thrilling Asia Cup Super-4 clash at the Dubai International Stadium.

Pakistan chased down a target of 182 runs set by India on back of Virat Kohli’s magnificent 50 and Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul’s blistering start at the top.

Mohmmad Rizwan Scored 71 runs in 51 balls.

Indian bowlers struggled to defend the score against an experienced Pakistan batting lineup. Babar Azam once again failed to score against India. Babar was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi.

Mohmmad Rizwan was the torch bearer for Pakistan alongside Mohammad Nawaz who played a quickfire knock of 42 runs in 20 balls. Rizwan and Nawaz took the game away from India. The duo added 73 runs 8 overs and turned the match in Pakistan’s side.

Mohmmad Nawaz scored quickfire 42 runs from 20 balls and picked up 1/25 in his four overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Mohmmad Nawaz in the 16th over and broke the partnership giving away 3 runs. Mohmmad Rizwan was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the 17th over and India were once again back in the game.

Pakistan needed 35 runs in 3 overs. Ravi Bishnoi bowling the 18th over gave away way to many runs in wides. Arshdeep Singh dropped a dolly of a catch at third man and Asif Ali survived.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave away 19 runs in the 19th over as Asif Ali smashed a six and a boundary.

Pakistan required 7 runs in 6 balls. Asif Ali smashed low full toss bowled by Arshdeep straight down the ground and the equation was down to 2 runs in 4 balls. Singh bowled a dot ball and bowled a peach of a yorker to dismiss Asif Ali. The equation was down to 2 runs in 2 balls.

Iftikhar Ahmed the new batsman in smashed the ball down the ground and the batsmen run 2. Pakistan win the match by 5 wickets. A great comeback from Pakistan after their loss in the opening game against India.

India will now have to win two matches in a row in order to reach the finals. They play their next game against Sri Lanka on 6th September in Asia Cup 2022.
