The schedule for the 2022 Asia Cup, which will begin on August 27, was released by the Asian Cricket Council on Tuesday. As announced earlier, Sri Lanka will host the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Due to Sri Lanka’s ongoing economic crisis, the tournament was relocated. At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on August 28, defending champions India will play host to archrivals Pakistan. While the final will be played on September 11, Sri Lanka will play Afghanistan in the tournament’s opening match on August 27.
