For students interested in a future in esports and gaming, the Erin Ashley Simon Esports Internship Fund has increased and now totals $5,000 (£4,120).
The fund aims to offer chances for advancement in the gaming and esports sectors. According to XSET, it was started by Erin Ashley Simon in 2021 and consists of a multi-year internship with mentoring and educational possibilities.
Simon mentioned that she intends to expand and build the fund by enlisting the aid of other businesses and influential people.

According to XSET, the project aims to pave the way to an esports career for students who might not have the chance to enrol in college courses that are specifically related to the industry.
As a result, it focuses on college students who are really interested in esports but may have financial difficulties.
“There are many industries out there that are fascinated by gaming, but I’m pushing all of them to stop eyeing and become engaged with the fund,” said Erin Ashley Simon, co-owner of XSET.
Non-endemic businesses have the ideal opportunity to observe and comprehend the development of this sector and the individuals that drive it.
Since Simon studied there while a student, she has a personal connection to the university. At the fund’s inauguration in 2021, Simon stated that the fund was her way of giving back to the university where she “developed her journalism abilities and had professors and other students who believed in her.”
