Winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the World Giants got off to a flier courtesy of Kevin O’Brien.
O’Brien shared a 50-run stand with Hamilton Masakadza in 5.3 overs with the Zimbabwean contributing 18 off 15 balls.
Kevin was the star with his 52 off 31 balls. Denesh Ramdin supported him with his 42* off 29 balls.

Kallis scored only 12 runs and Thisara Perera made a handy 23 off 16 balls.
World Giants were well-placed after 10 overs.
The Giants could have gotten to 180+ from where they were after 10 overs.
