The ICC has revealed the warm-up schedule for all 16 countries before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia in October. Team India will play warm-up games against New Zealand and Australia before the commencement of the 2019 T20 World Cup.

On October 23, India and Pakistan will square off in their opening match of the Super-12 stage. The team members will have had enough match experience upon their arrival from India and have participated in the series against Australia and South Africa that will conclude on October 11.
India will play Australia in its first pre-World Cup warm-up game
The Rohit Sharma-led Indian T20 team will now play the 2021 champions and finalists, New Zealand, and Australia, respectively, before beginning their World Cup campaign. On October 17 and October 20, respectively, India will face off against Aaron Finch and company and Kane Williamson’s team.
Australia and New Zealand are in Group 1 with England and Afghanistan. Only two teams out of six from each group will advance to the semi-finals of the ICC competition. They will be joined by two additional qualifiers.

The league phase is comparatively simpler for the Men in Blue, on the other hand. The other two teams are South Africa and Bangladesh, and Rohit Sharma’s team will enter the league stage as the favorites.
On November 9 and 10, the tournament’s semi-finals will take place. After a two-day break, the T20 World Cup final will take place.
The two exhibition matches between Sri Lanka, the 2014 T20 World Cup champion and Zimbabwe and Ireland will take place at the MCG on October 10 and October 13, respectively.
The warm-up matches, which will take place over a nine-day period, won’t be open to spectators, according to the ICC.
