Cleveland Cavaliers defeat Boston Celtics 114-113 in overtime on Wednesday at Boston. Darius Garland returned to the court after missing five games due to an eye injury scored 29 points. This is Cleveland’s 2nd win over Boston in a week.

Boston failed to score in two possessions in overtime as Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown failed to hit the basket in the last 30 seconds. The Celtics lost 3 off their last 4 games.
The Cavaliers are now 3-0 in overtime games this season after tonight’s 114-113 win over Boston Celtics and a sixth straight win of the season.
Garland and Donovan Mitchell combined scored 54 points. Garland’s ally oop assist to Donovan Mitchell in overtime put Cleveland on top.

Darius Garland showed his play making skills with 12 assists and shooting 5-11 from 3 Point line and 9-20 from the field. He scored 14 points in the 1st quarter ( a career high in first 12 minutes)
Donovan Mitchell scored 25 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists shooting 11-27 field goals. Jarrett Allen scored double double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
After trailing 66-54, the cavs closed out the third quarter on a 29-10 run to lead 83-76 going into the fourth quarter.
Cleveland were infront by two points with 10.6 on the clock Jayson Tatum made a 2-foot dunk to tie the game in regular time.
Jayson Tatum scored 26 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks in the game. He managed to shoot two 3-pointers out of the 9 attempts. A very low efficiency rate from the 3 point line from Tatum.
Jaylen Brown was the teams high scorer with 30 points alongside 8 rebounds and 4 assists shooting 10-26 from the field. Al Horford recorded a double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Malcom Brogdon coming off bench scored 15 points shooting 6-11 from the field. Marcus Smart scored 16 points.
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum each scored 20 plus points in six of the 7 games that they played this season.
Boston play host to Chicago Bulls on Friday. Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Detroit for a five game trip starting on Friday.
