Shreyas Iyer
Iyer could bat at No.3 in the absence of Virat Kohli. Iyer scored 173 runs in six games in the SMAT 2022 and looks in brilliant form.
Iyer registered scores of 50, 113* and 28* in the ODI series against South Africa last month as India came from behind to win the series 2-1.

The 27- vear-old has played 47 T20Is for India and scored 1030 runs in 43 innings at a strike rate of 136.06. He is one of the players to watch out for in the India tour of New Zealand.
Kuldeep Sen
Kuldeep Sen is known for his express pace as he has the ability to bowl over 140kmph on a regular basis. He announced himself during the 2022 season for Rajasthan Royals.
The 26-year-old pacer received his maiden India call-up for the ODI series against New Zealand. Senior pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami were rested for the ODI series which might give Kuldeep a maiden ODI call-up.
The Madhya Pradesh pacer is set to make his debut in the ODIs and it will be exciting to watch him bowl on the lively New Zealand pitches.
Washington Sundar
Washington Sundar played his last T20I game for India in March 2021 against England. A series of injuries saw him out of the team. In his 31 T20 Internationals.
The Chennai-born all-rounder has taken 25 wickets, he is also very handy with the bat down the order.
Sundar picked just six wickets for Tamil Nadu in SMAT 2022 at an impressive average of 15.8 and looks in great touch. He will be raring to compete against New Zealand away from home.
Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj has not been a regular in the Indian side, but whenever he has got the opportunity he steps up and makes it count.
He has played just six T20Is for India between 2017 and 2022, with his last game being the final T20I against South Africa in Indore. Overall, Siraj has picked 117 wickets in the T20 format at an average of 26.11 and an economy of 8.39.
Siraj will enjoy bowling on New Zealand pitches and will play a key role with the new ball for team India.
