Edge put on a banger of a show along side Damian Priest in the main event of Aug 23rd weekly episode of Raw. Edge won the match after he speared Priest for a count of one, two and three.

The former Judgment day member was then attacked by the Judgement day after the match. Rhea Ripley delivered a low blow to Edge followed by Finn Balor’s signature finisher from the top rope.

Edge signed a three year contract with WWE which expires in 2023. The rated R superstar will be hoping to end his career on his own terms.

Meltzer clearly spotted the impression that he is nearing the fag end of his wrestling career.

Meltzer said “He may feel that way today, but a year from now, who knows how he’ll feel. I think he probably would want to retire in Toronto and choose his own way of retiring”.

Edge is the only wrestler after R truth to have won more titles in WWE winning 31 times. He is a record seven time World Heavy weight champion, Four time World Champion, Five time Intercontinental Champion, One time United States and a record 12 time tag team champion.
